an exciting opportunity for you! We are currently seeking a
dedicated and experienced Food Safety and Quality Manager for our
manufacturing facility. This is a permanent position where you will
be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of our food
safety and quality programs. Responsibilities: Your role as a Food
Safety and Quality Manager will encompass a broad range of
responsibilities that include but are not limited to: 1. Overseeing
the implementation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of the
Food Safety and Quality Assurance programs. 2. Ensuring compliance
with all regulatory standards such as USDA, GMP, HACCP, SQF, and
FSVP. 3. Managing and leading a team of quality assurance
professionals to ensure the highest quality of our products. 4.
Conducting regular audits to assess the effectiveness of our food
safety programs. 5. Leading investigations into any food safety or
quality issues, and implementing corrective actions where
necessary. 6. Collaborating with production teams to ensure that
all products meet our stringent quality standards. 7. Providing
training and education to staff on food safety protocols and
procedures. 8. Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of industry trends
and regulatory changes to ensure that our food safety systems
remain current and compliant. Qualifications: To be successful in
this role, you will need: 1. A Bachelor's degree in Food Science,
Microbiology, or a related field. 2. A minimum of 5 years of
experience in a similar role within the food manufacturing
industry, preferably with dairy products such as milk, cream, whey,
and cheese. 3. In-depth knowledge of food safety regulations and
standards including USDA, GMP, HACCP, SQF, and FSVP. 4. Proven
experience in managing and leading a team. 5. Excellent
problem-solving skills and the ability to make quick decisions in a
fast-paced environment. 6. Strong communication skills, both
written and verbal, and the ability to effectively communicate
complex information to a wide range of audiences. 7. A high level
of attention to detail and a commitment to excellence. If you are a
