About the Role: Are you a seasoned Senior Business Analyst with a passion for modernizing mission-critical systems? Do you have a deep understanding of payment processing, cloud-native solutions, and enterprise integrations? We are looking for an experienced Business Analyst to join our team in leading the analysis and transformation of a legacy Payment Management System into a secure, scalable, cloud-native platform. This system supports a range of payment types—ACH, credit card, debit, refunds, AutoPay—and interfaces with various internal and external financial systems. In this pivotal role, you'll reverse-engineer the existing architecture, map out system dependencies, and partner with architects to craft a modernization roadmap aligned with best practices in cloud and payment security standards. What You’ll Do Perform in-depth analysis of legacy payment systems and identify key architectural patterns. Reverse-engineer and document business processes, workflows, and system logic. Map all integration points with upstream/downstream systems and external partners. Identify technical debt, bottlenecks, and scalability limitations. Collaborate with Solution Architects to develop modernization blueprints and migration strategies. Recommend secure, cost-efficient, cloud-agnostic designs—ideally AWS-based. Lead stakeholder sessions to validate requirements, ensure business alignment, and support phased migration planning. Develop comprehensive documentation: functional specs, dependency maps, reference architecture diagrams, and roadmaps. Required Skills & Experience 10 years of experience in business/system analysis with a strong focus on enterprise payment platforms. Proven background in legacy system modernization and cloud-native architecture (AWS preferred). Deep knowledge of payment processing systems, including ACH, credit/debit card, AutoPay, and refunds. Familiarity with financial integration standards, including PCI DSS, NACHA, and secure data practices. Strong analytical skills in reverse engineering, dependency mapping, and workflow analysis. Demonstrated ability to bridge the gap between business needs and technical implementation. Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Preferred Qualifications Experience in credit card processor migration projects. Background in banking, insurance, or financial services environments. Expertise in designing high-availability, cost-optimized cloud solutions. Prior involvement in phased migration strategies with minimal service disruption. Why Join Us?
