My client is looking for an detail-oriented project manager.
They have been in the industry for 75 years and their portfolio is
comprised of light commercial projects. This is a great opportunity
for a project manager looking for the chance to grow in role and
title in a laid back culture that produces excellent projects.
Client Details Our client offers a complete range of services from
kickoff to execution for light commercial projects. They have a
proven track record in the construction industry and are more of
the most respected family-owned general contractors in the Madison

2025 Description Collaborate with clients to understand project
requirements, scope, and objectives. Develop detailed project
plans, timelines, and budgets in coordination with the project
team. Coordinate resources, subcontractors, and equipment to meet
project deliverables. Act as the primary point of contact for
clients throughout the project lifecycle. Regularly communicate
project progress, updates, and any potential issues to clients.
Address client concerns and ensure client satisfaction throughout
the project. Monitor project budgets and expenses, ensuring
projects are completed within budget constraints. Review and
approve project-related expenses, invoices, and change orders.
Implement cost-saving measures without compromising project
quality. Oversee project quality control and ensure adherence to
industry standards and regulations. Monitor safety protocols and
ensure a safe working environment for all project participants.
Conduct regular inspections and take corrective actions to address
any quality or safety issues. Identify potential risks and
challenges early in the project and develop contingency plans.
Proactively address issues that arise during the construction
process, seeking effective solutions. Mitigate risks related to the
project schedule, budget, and client expectations. Prepare
comprehensive project reports and status updates for clients and
internal teams. Maintain accurate project documentation, including
contracts, permits, and project correspondence. Record meeting
minutes, action items, and decisions made during client meetings.
Lead and motivate project teams, including subcontractors and field
staff, to achieve project goals. Foster a collaborative work
environment, encouraging open communication and teamwork. Provide
guidance and mentorship to team members to promote their
professional development. Ensure smooth project closeout, including
final inspections and client sign-off. Facilitate the handover
process to clients, ensuring a seamless transition and client
satisfaction. Collect feedback from clients to identify areas for
improvement and implement lessons learned. Profile Client-facing
personality and detail focus. Experience with various building
systems, delivery methods, and construction contracts Excellent
communication skills with various parties including management,
subcontractors, consultants, architects, vendors, and clients.
Working knowledge of construction technology and details. Candidate
must be extremely proficient reviewing and understanding all
construction documents including specifications and drawings 5
