What you will do Provide professional nursing or medical assistant care under supervision or scope of licensure for clinic patients. - Room patients, perform and document vital signs and patient backgrounds. - Coordinate provider schedules and appointment, enter orders and prepare patient charts. - Coordinate provider schedules and appointment, enter orders and prepare patient charts. - Instruct patients and families as directed within scope of licensure or certification. - Prepare patients and assist medical providers with in-office procedures and prepare and administer medications/immunizations. - Maintain exam rooms and equipment to be within infection control standards. - Ensure appropriate levels of medical supplies for each patient room. Qualifications - CPS/BLS Certification Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers from approved program or Prevea sponsored program. Upon Hire Required Medical Assistant - Current clinical experience as a Medical Assistant. - Certified as a Medical Assistant, Certified Clinical Medical Assistant, or Registered Medical Assistant in the state of WI through an approved accreditor. Licensed Practical Nurse - Graduation from an accredited school of practical nursing. - Valid Practical Nursing license in the state of WI through an approved accreditor. Emergency Medical Technician - Graduation from an accredited Emergency Medical Technician program. - Licensed EMT or AEMT and maintain this credential throughout employment If holds other licenses that supersede CMA/RMA license may practice to the highest level of licensure with the approval of Quality Resources. Experience Qualifications - Current clinical experience as a Medical Assistant, Licensed Practical Nurse, or previous experience as an Emergency Medical Technician or Advanced Emergency Medical Technician Preferred Prevea is an Equal Employment Opportunity/Affirmative Action employer.
