Job Description:
Job Summary: Provide consulting services to PSE clients for a wide
range of engineering projects, including electrical utility
transmission planning and studies; generation interconnection
studies, modeling, and conceptual design; and utility-scale
renewable energy resource-focused design and analysis. Our Point of

- With the support of PSE colleagues, perform transmission
studies, including planning studies, stability studies, generator
interconnection studies, and material modification studies.
- Provide and/or assist with generator interconnection support,
including preliminary project design.
- Perform transmission system modeling analysis utilizing
engineering analysis software.
- Assist with PSCAD modeling support for generator projects.
- Assist on distribution studies as needed.
- Provide day-to-day operations support to PSE clients.
Qualifications: Education and Experience
- A bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or a related
field is required.
- 10+ years of experience in consulting, utility, or ISO/RTO
environments is preferred. Knowledge and Skills
- Working knowledge of computer software, including PSS/E, MS
Excel, and MS Word, is required.
- Basic knowledge of applicable NERC, IEEE, NEC, and ANSI
standards and electric codes is highly preferred.
- Knowledge of additional power engineering software programs,
including PSCAD, PSLF, TSAT, and TARA, is a plus.
- Basic knowledge of electric utility systems and wiring and
schematic diagrams is a plus.
