Senior Accountant

The Senior Accountant will be responsible for preparing monthly financial statements for multiple sites, performing month-end close duties including journal entries, account analysis, reconciliations, and projects as necessary. -This position may be based in Sheboygan, WI or Monroe, LA.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• - Prepare and post standard and non-standard journal entries monthly
  
• - Analyze and reconcile bank statements and internal general ledger accounts
  
• - Perform month-end-close activities
  
• - Process and balance monthly all intercompany transactions and confirm with intercompany partners
  
• - Perform month end account reconciliations
  
• - Close fixed asset ledger and post depreciation
  
• - Maintain month end close checklists
  
• - Support Internal and External audit as needed
  
  Minimum Qualifications:
  
  
• - Bachelor's Degree in Accounting/Finance, MPA, MBA, CPA or CMA, a plus
  
• - 5 Years Accounting experience
  
• - Strong Excel and any ERP skills, AX or D365 is a plus
  
• - Ability to prioritize and multi-task
  
• - Highly analytical, organized, and detailed
  
• - Proven ability to work independently and within a team
  
• - FP&A experience, Power BI experience a plus
  
• - Strong knowledge of GAAP and accounting processes
