Position: Painter- Full Time
Department: Engineering
Reports to: Director of Engineering
Job Purpose: Maintains building appearance
Job Summary: Painting and decorating of the Resort, Conference Center, and Waterpark in order to maintain the overall appearance of the property.
Duties

• Taping off surfaces to eliminate over spray on windows, floors, walls, and ceilings
• Laying of drop cloths in order to have an effective work area as well as to prevent overspray and spills
• Getting the proper equipment and tools necessary for a particular job ready for that day
• Cleaning and maintain all of the departments equipment and tools used on a job
• Tear down of any taped areas and drop cloths
• Maintaining a clean work space in the painter's room
• Applying paints, stains, and finishes of all types to many different surfaces throughout the resort Qualifications
  • Available to work after hours and weekends, as required
  • Experience following the protocols and precautions for hazardous waste management
  • High School Diploma or equivalent. Additional education encouraged.
  • General building construction skills to drywall, mud, tape, and texture
  • Experience in paint prep and application
  • 3-5 years' experience in the paint industry
  • Experience with multiple boom and scissor lifts
  • Knowledge in what products are to be used as well as surfaces the products will be applied to
  • Forming healthy and bonding relationships with paint vendors
