Job DescriptionPosition: Spa Front Desk Coordinator Reports To: Spa ManagerJob Purpose: Guest ServicesJob Summary: The Spa Front Desk Coordinator for Reflections Spa at Blue Harbor Resort & Conference Center must pay attention to every detail to create an environment of tranquil harmony for our guests. The Spa Front Desk Coordinator is responsible to communicate all matters of concern to the Spa Manager. Duties

• Maintains a professional presence at the Spa front desk – answering the phone and coordinating appointments for massage, facial, nail and hair. Always acting in a polite and helpful manner.
• Acts as the ambassador of the Spa, greeting and welcoming all guests. Ensure each guest is acclimated to the standards of spa use, and signs a liability waiver.
• Performs setup and closing duties. Including maintaining a cash drawer.
• Inside sales experience preferred.
• Maintains the soothing atmosphere of the Spa. Ensuring music is playing softly in the spa and salon.
• Continually check locker room areas for cleanliness. Tends to all laundry - dirty and clean, making sure everything is dirty removed and brought to the laundry room and when clean, put away. Cleans the Spa slippers as needed with sandal spray cleaner & restock when dry.
• Discuss items of interest with members and guests encouraging them to browse and purchase. Process all sales and timely.
• Customer Service - Anticipate, identify and ensure each guest needs are being met in the very best possible way. Qualifications
  • Excellent guest service and communication skills
  • Ability to multitask
  • Working knowledge of Spa services and amenities helpful.
  • A working knowledge of retail point of sales terminal systems
  • Microsoft Office proficient required.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent experience. Physical Requirements
    • Lift up to 10 lbs.
    • Able to stand, walk and work long hours between rest periods.
    • Able to reach, bend, climb, grasp, kneel, push, pull, and twist as needed.
