Job Description:
Job Description Job Description Position Summary: This position
provides exceptional support in the Hegos Tapping and Eddy Liner
area. Employees are expected to show: a dedicated effort in their
attendance, attitude, and safety practices, work as a cooperative
team member wherever assigned, and show supportive efforts
involving change and continuous improvement initiatives. Position
Requirements: Responsible for following Standard Process
Instructions (SPI), work instructions (WI), and Operating
Procedures (OPR’s) to ensure that parts are produced/processed to
required specifications which involves visual inspections,
verification of weights and measurements, and the recording of
accurate data on travelers, lot cards, and SPC charts. Sets up,
operates, monitors, troubleshoots, adjusts Tapping and Eddy Liner
equipment to perform standard and repetitive sequences of
Non-Destructive Testing (NDT), tapping, and weld testing functions.
Responsible for adhering to all Safety Procedures. Responsible for
maintaining a clean and organized work environment. Packages parts
per specifications. Responsible for effectively using micrometers,
calipers, Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM), Optical Comparator,
Density Scales, and other gauges to collect and analyze data to
make decisions pertaining to the quality of the product.
Responsible for taking corrective actions regarding quality issues
(such as adjusting furnace temps, split lots, issue NITs, review
trends on SPC charts and make decisions pertaining to quality based
on the data) Performs preventive maintenance as required. Makes
recommendations for process improvements. Performs assembly duties
as required. Responsible for performing Density verification on
product. Individuals directed by management to operate a vehicle
for work purposes will observe the requirements of the Fleet Safety
Program. Support, promote, and perform in a manner consistent with
continuous improvement goals and the values of DSB Technologies,
LLC. which includes following the policies, procedures, and
requirements of our Quality Management and IS0 14001 Environmental
Management Systems All other duties as assigned by your supervisor.
Professional and Technical Experience and Education: Experience
with implementation of lean manufacturing concepts preferred.
Previous machining/CNC experience preferred. Working knowledge of
Microsoft office preferred. 2nd shift 4pm - 2am Monday - Thursday
$2.50 Hourly Premium and Shift Pay (addition to starting wage)
