Our client, a manufacturing organization specializing in pallet production, is seeking a Machine Operator to join their team. As a Machine Operator, you will be part of the production department supporting the assembly and maintenance of pallets. The ideal candidate will have mechanical aptitude, problem-solving skills, and a strong work ethic, which will align successfully in the organization. Job Title: Machine Operator Location: Appleton, WI Pay Range: $20 Shift: Monday – Friday from 7:00 am to 4:30 pm, with flexibility to come in early or stay late up to a few hours a week What's the Job? Operate and monitor nailing machines to ensure efficient production Sort pallet component materials and feed acceptable materials into the machine Set up and adjust machines between runs based on customer and process requirements Build pallets according to customer specifications and quality standards Perform light maintenance and communicate any major issues to maintenance team What's Needed? Mechanical experience with the ability to perform light maintenance activities Ability to work well with others in a team environment Basic reading, writing, math skills, and ability to read tape measurements Physical ability to lift, push, and pull objects weighing 75 pounds or more Willingness to follow safety procedures and maintain a clean work environment What's in it for me?
