Job Description:
At Republic Services, Inc., known for our iconic blue trucks, we
are committed to providing safe and reliable waste management
services. We are currently seeking a dedicated Delivery Driver /
Courier to join our transportation team. This role involves
responsible handling of non-hazardous waste and recycling material,
ensuring timely collection and delivery. You will operate within
various municipal environments, adhering to strict safety and
regulatory guidelines. This position is pivotal in sustaining our
commitment to serving communities with efficiency and respect for
environmental stewardship. Safe operation of vehicles and
equipment. Timely collection and transport of waste and recyclable
materials. Routine inspection and maintenance of vehicles and
equipment to ensure operational safety. Adherence to route
schedules while ensuring all safety measures and regulations are
followed. Effective communication with team members and customers.
Reporting of any incidents or environmental concerns to management.
Commercial driving and safety management Knowledge of DOT
regulations and vehicle operations Effective communication and
customer service skills Ability to perform physical tasks and lift
weights up to 50 lbs Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision
