Job Description Alliance Services, Inc. is seeking a travel nurse RN Admission for a travel nursing job in Wausau, Wisconsin. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Admission - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 04/06/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel Estimated Gross Weekly Pay: $2268.00 /n/n Opportunity: /n RN - Admission and Transfer RN /n/n Job Details: /n • Work 12-hour shifts with variable start times at 7am, 11am, 1pm, and 7pm /n• Guaranteed 36 hours per week for 13 weeks /n• Every other weekend and every other holiday required /n• Can be low censused and put on call with 2-hour minimum call back pay /n• Must be outside 50-mile radius of facility /n• Required certifications: WI RN License, AHA or ARC BLS /n• 3-5 years ICU or ER experience required (5 years preferred) /n• Trauma Level II experience required /n• Transfer Call Center experience highly preferred /n• EPIC charting experience required /n• Associate Degree or Certificate required /n• Scrub colors: any color or business casual attire /n• Facilitate consults and transfers for patient placement across 16 hospitals /n• Coordinate patient admissions from healthcare facilities and physician offices /n• Follow protocols and demonstrate understanding of EMTALA requirements /n• Communicate estimated arrival times and coordinate patient transfers including transportation and specialist referrals /n• Document and track all patient transfers accurately /n• Use critical thinking skills to provide optimal patient placement /n• Remotely engage with facility staff to monitor transfer needs /n• Utilize chain of command to advocate for priority admissions or transfers /n• Plan and evaluate patient needs based on assessment reports /n/n Facility: /n This healthcare organization operates a comprehensive transfer and admission center that coordinates patient care across a large health system.
