Job Description Froedtert Health is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg / Telemetry for a travel nursing job in Menomonee Falls, Wisconsin. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Med Surg / Telemetry - Discipline: RN - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel Title: RN - MedSurg/Telemetry Location: Menomonee Falls, Wisconsin Contract: 13 weeks Schedule: 12 hour Nights, float as needed, every other weekend Requirements: 2 years experience as an RN | BLS, ACLS required | Epic experience required | Travel experience Required MCU is a 29 bed Cardiac Telemetry/Progressive Care Unit. RN's are Telemetry, ACLS and NIHSS certified. Patient population is very diverse including interventional cardiac catheterization procedures, acute MI, CHF, COPD as well as acute stroke and an y other patients needing closer cardiac monitoring and assessment. They also provide care for patients requiring peritoneal dialysis, IV antiarrhythmics, insulin infusions, BiPap and those on home ventilators. The Staff RN-Inpatient job description has incorporated essential functions which are adapted from the ANA Nursing: Scope and Standards of Practice, 2nd Edition (2010). null Required Skills & Experience: -Cardiac Telemetry Care experience. -Working with diverse patient population including MI, CHF, COPD, strokes, stable arrhythmias, and any other patient needing closer cardiac monitoring and assessment. -Professional knowledge of nursing theory and practice at a level normally acquired through completion of a minimum of two years education at an accredited School of Nursing in order to be eligible for licensure as a Registered Nurse.
