the Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing
Specialty: Endoscopy Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift:
8 hours Experience: Must have two years of experience within the
last three years. Must have recent experience in recovering sedated
GI and pulmonary procedures. Experience in an academic Level
1-Trauma center or similar size hospital is required. License: Must
possess a valid nursing license from the permanent address state.
Certifications: BLS and ACLS certified through the American Heart
Association only. Telemetry certification is required. Must-Have:
Experience in performing Moderate Sedation and pre/post levels of
care, including PACU/Phase I and Phase II recovery. Knowledge of
sedation management for GI and Bronchoscopy procedures. Basic
Arrhythmia experience required. Ability to pass a telemetry test
prior to start. Description: Provide care for patients during GI
and Bronchoscopy procedures, including the administration of
sedation. Assume overall responsibility for management of the
operating room to which assigned. Be an integral part of a surgical
team that performs multispecialty procedures. May be required to
stay past the end of the shift to complete schedules. Float to
other units may be required depending on staffing needs. No call
requirement. Weekends and holidays may be required. Requirements
