Job Description Alliance Services, Inc. is seeking a travel nurse RN ED - Emergency Department for a travel nursing job in Wausau, Wisconsin. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: ED - Emergency Department - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 03/23/2026 - Duration: 8 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, flexible - Employment Type: Travel Estimated Gross Weekly Pay: $2268.00 /n/n Opportunity: /n RN - ER /n/n Job Details: /n • Work 12-hour variable shifts with PM shifts starting at 11:00 AM or 2:00 PM /n• 8-week contract with 48 guaranteed hours per week (overtime after 48 hours worked) /n• Every other weekend and every other holiday required /n• 12 hours of on-call in a 6-week period with 30-minute response time requirement /n• 2-hour minimum for call back situations /n• May be required to float to other locations: Merrill, Antigo, Medford, and Stanley /n• Must have 5 years minimum experience with at least one year of travel experience required /n• Trauma Level II experience required /n• Required certifications: Wisconsin RN License, BLS, ACLS, TNCC, and PALS /n• EPIC charting experience required /n• Work in fast-paced environment with 3-4 patients per nurse /n• Responsibilities include drawing labs, administering nebulizer treatments, and using Pyxis medication dispenser /n• Must be a hard worker, resilient, able to manage change well, work independently, and complete tasks timely /n• Any color scrubs permitted /n• Associate Degree or Certificate required, Bachelor's Degree preferred /n• Contract eligible for 36 hours of low census unbillable hours /n• During flu season, unvaccinated travelers must wear masks at all times per facility policy /n/n Facility: /n This healthcare facility operates a comprehensive emergency department featuring an 18-bed Trauma Level II unit that is stroke certified and provides cardiac, neuro, pediatrics, geriatrics, and respiratory services. The facility maintains in-house lab and respiratory therapy services, with X-ray staff available on-site in the emergency department.
