Job Description Alliance Services, Inc. is seeking a travel nurse RN Palliative for a travel nursing job in Wausau, Wisconsin. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Palliative - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 03/23/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, flexible - Employment Type: Travel Estimated Gross Weekly Pay: $2304.00 /n/n Opportunity: /n RN - Palliative /n/n Job Details: /n • Work 12-hour variable shifts covering both days and nights /n• 36 guaranteed hours per week over 13-week contract /n• Every other weekend and holiday rotation required /n• Float to any inpatient unit and other Central region locations when needed /n• Required certifications: Wisconsin RN license, AHA BLS /n• Minimum 1 year inpatient palliative care preferred, 2 years medical-surgical experience required /n• Epic charting experience required /n• Medical-surgical skill set required to care for med-surg patients in palliative care unit /n• Experience in palliative care/hospice helpful but not required /n• Work in 10-bed unit with 5:1 RN patient ratio /n• Care for palliative, comfort/hospice, and medical-surgical patients /n• Any color scrubs permitted /n• Must be located outside 50-mile radius from facility /n• Associate degree or certificate required /n• Contract eligible for 36 hours of low census unbillable hours with potential call-back pay /n• Guaranteed hours not applicable during orientation week or when unit is closed for holidays /n/n Facility: /n This healthcare organization operates a specialized 10-bed palliative care unit that provides compassionate end-of-life care and comfort services to patients and families.
