Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: OB/GYN Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 Experience: 1 year of previous OB/GYN experience required License: Wisconsin/compact license required Certifications: BLS Must-Have: - Previous charge experience - Epic charting system experience preferred - Experience with the following skills: Ectopic pregnancy Pelvic exam Pelvic inflammatory disease Placenta abruption/previa Pregnancy-induced hypertension Spontaneous abortion Urogenital issues Vaginal bleeding Pap smear Scheduling appointments Height and weight measurement Interpretation of laboratory results Medication reconciliation Pain assessment Patient health questionnaire/history/allergies Obtaining vital signs Urine analysis Authorization forms Disability forms Insurance verification Referrals Telephone triage Biohazard waste disposal Follow-up phone calls Medication refills Patient teaching Universal precautions Pharmacy calls/patient refill requests Description: This is an outpatient clinic position for a registered nurse specializing in OB/GYN. The nurse will work Monday through Friday during daytime hours. The role requires experience in handling a variety of obstetric and gynecological issues. The nurse will provide care and support to patients undergoing various procedures and treatments. Responsibilities include performing examinations, obtaining and interpreting laboratory results, and managing patient records. Communication with patients and their families is essential for education on health concerns and post-treatment care.
