Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Ultrasound Technologist - Discipline: Allied Health Professional - Start Date: 03/16/2026 - Duration: 12 weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift: 8 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel Estimated Gross Weekly Pay: $3080.00 /n/n Opportunity: /n Ultrasound Tech - Ultrasound Tech /n/n Job Details: /n • Work Monday through Friday with varying shift times: 7:00 AM-3:30 PM, 7:30 AM-4:00 PM, 8:00 AM-4:30 PM, or 8:30 AM-5:00 PM /n• Perform gynecological and obstetric ultrasounds under OB/GYN provider direction /n• Must have previous experience working in a Women's Clinic or OBGYN Clinic /n• Operate ultrasound equipment competently for gynecological and obstetric procedures /n• Review patient medical records, obtain clinical information, and compare requisitions to physician orders /n• Position patients and select appropriate transducers and technical factors for accurate procedures /n• Use cognitive sonographic skills to identify, record, and adapt procedures based on anatomical and pathological findings /n• Accurately identify and label images with patient information and scan locations /n• Maintain records per regulatory requirements and enter information into radiology systems /n• Analyze sonograms, synthesize information, and communicate findings to physicians /n• Medical Sonographer (RDMS) registration with Abdomen and OB/GYN from ARDMS required within 3 months /n• Must demonstrate competency in all gynecological and obstetric sonographic procedures /n• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple assignments /n• Flexible schedule and adaptable to constant change required /n• Knowledge of aseptic techniques and excellent communication skills essential /n/n Facility: /n This healthcare organization operates a specialized Women's Center with a dedicated Ultrasound Department focused on providing comprehensive gynecological and obstetric imaging services.
