Alliance Services, Inc. is seeking a travel nurse RN Intermediate Care for a travel nursing job in Wausau, Wisconsin. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Intermediate Care - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 03/09/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel Estimated Gross Weekly Pay: $2556.00 Opportunity: RN - IMC Job Details: • Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM • 13-week contract assignment with guaranteed 36 hours per week • Every other weekend and every other holiday schedule • Float to higher acuity inpatient units as needed • Subject to low census and on-call requirements with 2-hour minimum call back • Must be outside a 50-mile radius of facility • Minimum 2 years nursing experience required • Stepdown/Intermediate/PCU experience required • ICU experience preferred • At least 1 prior travel experience required • Trauma Level II experience preferred • Ventilator/Trach experience required • Required certifications: Wisconsin RN License, BLS, and ACLS • EPIC charting experience preferred • 4:1 patient ratio • Care for patients with heavy telemetry monitoring, stable weaning vents/trach, sepsis, trauma, alcohol detox, GI bleeds, chest tubes, TBI, orthopedic trauma, spinal cord injuries, and stroke patients • Manage insulin drips and primary patients • Must work independently in fast-paced environment • Any color scrubs permitted • Associate degree or certificate required, Bachelor's degree preferred Facility: This healthcare facility operates a 36-bed Medical Surgical Intermediate Care unit providing specialized care for complex medical conditions.
