Alliance Services, Inc. is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg
for a travel nursing job in Wausau, Wisconsin. Job Description &

hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel Estimated Gross Weekly Pay:
$2556.00 Opportunity: RN - Med Surg Job Details: • 12-hour
day/night variable shifts: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM •
36 guaranteed hours per week (13-week contract) • Every other
weekend and holiday rotation required • Float to all inpatient
units with appropriate patient assignments • Subject to low census
and on-call status with 2-hour minimum call back • Nurse to patient
ratio: days/evenings 1:4 or 1:5, nights 1:5 to 1:7 • Fast-paced
post-surgical unit averaging 10-15 admissions per day • Provide
care for pre and post-surgical adult and geriatric patients • Must
be able to multitask, prioritize care based on acuity, and work as
a team • Required certifications: Wisconsin RN License and BLS • 2
years Med Surg experience required with recent hospital experience
• Trauma Level II experience required • Prior travel experience
required • Epic charting experience required • Equipment used: Epic
EMR, Rovers for medication scanning, Alaris pumps • Any color
scrubs permitted • Must live outside 50-mile radius of facility •
Associate degree or certificate required, Bachelor's degree
preferred Facility: This healthcare facility operates a 40-bed Post
Surgical Care Unit that provides comprehensive care for adult and
geriatric patients along the surgical continuum. The unit maintains
high occupancy rates of 90-95% during the week with an average
length of stay of 2-3 days. The facility emphasizes team-based care
and utilizes modern technology including Epic EMR systems to
support quality patient outcomes in a fast-paced surgical
environment. Location: Wausau, WI Wausau offers a perfect blend of
