Registered Nurse (RN) | Neuro Location: Janesville, WI Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,272 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: ASAP About the Position TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Neuro RN in Janesville, Wisconsin, 53548! Job Title: Registered Nurse (Travel RN) Profession: Nursing Specialty: Med-Surg Ortho, Neurology Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Night Shift Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum Years of Experience Required License: Current WI License Certifications: NIHSS, CPR/BLS Must-Have: Flu Vaccination Description: We are seeking experienced nurses. The candidates must have a current WI License, NIHSS, and CPR/BLS certification. RN must be vaccinated for Flu. Travel RN will be required to float to multiple inpatient units including Medical, Surgical/Peds, Ortho/Neuro, and Sub-Acute Units. This position will require working every other weekend and holiday during night shift hours. The RN will utilize the nursing process and collaborate with interdisciplinary team members in caring for patients. The RN will administer prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with approved nursing techniques, policies and procedures, standards of care, and state laws/practice act. Documentation will be completed according to standards of care. The RN will develop, initiate, and execute a patient plan of care according to the individualized needs of the patient, as prescribed by the Physician and/or hospital policy including patient and family instruction. Participation in department or unit performance improvement activities is expected, which may include shared governance. Utilizing clinical expertise and providing guidance to other units/departments in support of the patient's longitudinal plan of care is essential. Critical thinking in regards to patient safety and patient experience is necessary, with appropriate escalation to the relevant chain of command.
