Doctor of Medicine | Urology Location: Stevens Point, WI Employer: VieMed Healthcare Staffing Pay: Competitive weekly pay (inquire for details) Start Date: ASAP About the Position Urology Physician – Immediate and Fall 2025 Coverage Needed Join our dynamic team as a Urology Physician and make a meaningful impact on patient care in a flexible, supportive environment. This position offers the opportunity to work primarily from December 2024 through April 2025, with intermittent coverage extending into the fall. Based out of Wausau, you'll provide comprehensive Urology services, including clinic duties and operating room procedures, while enjoying flexible schedules designed to meet your professional and personal needs. What You’ll Do: Deliver full-time clinic coverage and perform 2-3 days of OR procedures weekly, averaging 36 hours per week with flexible days and hours. Be available for 7-10 days per month, including one weekend, to provide system call coverage. Potential outreach to Wisconsin Rapids 1-2 days per month. Assist in maintaining high-quality patient outcomes through collaborative practice. Required Skills: MD or DO degree with board certification or eligibility in Urology. Valid medical license to practice in Wisconsin. Demonstrated clinical expertise in urologic diagnosis and treatment. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team. Nice to Have Skills: Experience in outpatient clinic and surgical settings. Prior exposure to outreach programs. Bilingual skills in English and Spanish or other languages. Familiarity with Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems. Preferred Education and Experience: Medical degree from an accredited institution. At least 2 years of post-residency practice experience in Urology preferred, but new graduates are encouraged to apply. Other Requirements: Willingness to work flexible hours, including occasional weekends. Ability to travel up to 10 days per month, including some outreach. Valid Wisconsin medical license and DEA certification. Certification in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) preferred but not mandatory.
