Schedule: /n 10 hour day shifts, 16 hour night shifts, 24 hour
shifts available. Weekend, week day, and holiday shifts available.
Hours may vary based on the needs of the department. /n Be part of
something remarkable /n As an Advanced Practice Provider, you'll
play an integral role in our care teams by providing high-quality
and cost-effective care to our patients. /n We are seeking a
Neonatal Nurse Practitioner to: /n /n - Practice alongside other
Neonatal Nurse Practitioners and NICU Hospitalists to provide
services at our two recently expanded locations: UnityPoint
Health-Meriter, a 42-bed Level III NICU, and American Family
Children’s Hospital, a 26-bed Level IV NICU. /n - Attend high risk
deliveries and provide medical management as a member of our
multi-disciplinary group. /n - Provide transport for babies with
our Medflight Peds/Neo Team with flying strongly encouraged /n -
Perform routine clinical procedures independently including
providing resuscitation and stabilization of newborn, endotracheal
tube placement/intubation, PICC line insertion, umbilical catheter
insertion (arterial/venous), peripheral arterial line insertion,
chest tube insertion and removal, thoracentesis, lumber puncture,
double or partial volume exchange transfusion and neonatal
transport. /n /n Education: /n Minimum - Master’s or Doctorate’s
degree from accredited Nursing Program. /n Work Experience: /n
Preferred - Two (2) years of relevant NICU experience. /n Licenses
and Certifications: /n Minimum – State of Wisconsin NP /n Nurse
Practitioner*: /n /n - Active RN and APRN certifications and
licenses, including prescriptive authority, in state(s) of practice
AND /n - Active board certification as a NP in area of clinical
practice. These may include the following: Neonatal Nurse
Practitioner. /n /n All Nurse Practitioner applicants must have*:
Active DEA license or ability to apply for such license prior to or
upon hire. /n *Active license or eligibility to obtain active
licensure in state of practice. This may include licensing in
