Obstetrics / Gynecology for a job in Madison, Wisconsin. Job

Type: Staff Work Schedule: /n 100% FTE, Monday-Friday between the
hours of 9:00 am – 5:00 pm. /n As an Advanced Practice Provider,
you'll play an integral role in our care teams by providing
high-quality, cost-effective care for our cancer patients. /n We
are seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to: /n /n -
Conduct comprehensive health history and physical assessments of
oncology patients with acute health issues from cancer and cancer
therapies (surgery, chemotherapy, and radiation therapy) /n -
Manage and modify ongoing hospital-based care and collaborate with
inpatient Gyn Oncology team and consulting team to adjust plan of
care /n - Perform ER and other inpatient consultations /n - Be a
liaison and manage patients as they transition from inpatient to
outpatient care /n - Work with a wide variety of team members
including students, residents, RNs, social workers, pharmacists and
care coordinators. /n - Effectively communicate with team members,
patients, and patients’ family members. /n /n Education: /n Minimum
– /n If Nurse Practitioner: /n Master’s or Doctorate’s degree from
accredited Nursing Program. /n If Physician Assistant: /n
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree from accredited PA Program. /n
Licenses and Certifications: /n Minimum – State of Wisconsin NP or
PA licensure /n If Nurse Practitioner*: /n /n - Active RN and APRN
certifications and licenses, including prescriptive authority, in
state(s) of practice AND /n - Active board certification as a NP in
area of clinical practice. These may include the following: Adult;
Adult/Gerontology Primary Care; Adult/Gerontology Acute Care;
Family; Women’s Health. /n /n If Physician Assistant*: /n /n -
Active PA license, including prescriptive authority, in state(s) of
practice AND /n - Active PA board certification /n /n All Nurse
Practitioner and Physician Assistant applicants must have*: Active
DEA license or ability to apply for such license prior to or upon
hire. /n *Active license or eligibility to obtain active licensure
in state of practice. This may include licensing in Wisconsin and
