Outpatient Pediatrics for a job in MADISON, Wisconsin. Job

Nurse Practitioner - Duration: Ongoing - Employment Type: Staff
Work Schedule: /n 100% FTE, Monday – Friday, 8 hour days between
the hours of 8:00 am and 5:00 pm. No weekends, holidays or call.
Hours may vary based on the needs of the department. /n Be part of
something remarkable /n As an Advanced Practice Provider, you'll
play an integral role in our inpatient and ambulatory care teams by
providing high-quality, cost-effective care to patients. /n We are
seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to: /n /n -
Provide evaluation and treatment and follow up for a wide range of
pediatric hepatologic disorders in an inpatient/outpatient setting.
/n - Conduct comprehensive health history and physical assessment
for new and follow up patients. /n - See patients pre and
post-procedure and manage complications related to procedures or
surgery (includes patients having procedures done in interventional
radiology – venograms, liver biopsies etc). /n - Collaborate with
inpatient transplant team related to transplant patients pre and
post transplant. /n - Advanced practice providers with experience
or an interest in Pediatric Hepatology, Pediatric Gastroenterology,
or PICU, would succeed on this team. /n /n Education: If Nurse
Practitioner: Master’s or Doctorate’s degree from accredited
Nursing Program. If Physician Assistant: Bachelor’s or Master’s
degree from accredited PA Program. /n Licenses and Certifications:
Minimum – State of Wisconsin NP or PA licensure If Nurse
Practitioner*: /n /n - Active RN and APRN certifications and
licenses, including prescriptive authority, in state(s) of practice
AND /n - Active board certification as a NP in area of clinical
practice. These may include the following: Family, Pediatric Acute
Care, or Pediatric Primary Care. /n /n If Physician Assistant*: /n
/n - Active PA license, including prescriptive authority, in
state(s) of practice AND /n - Active PA board certification /n /n

have*: Active DEA license or ability to apply for such license
