Job Title: Radiologic Technologist Job Specialty: Mobile X-Ray Technician Job Duration: To be discussed during the interview Shift: Part-Time, requires every other weekend Guaranteed Hours: Flexible schedule Experience: Minimum years of experience not specified License: State licensure in Wisconsin Certifications: ARRT Certification Must-Have: Valid driver's license in good current standing, COVID-19 vaccination or approved exemption Job Description: - Provide mobile X-Ray and EKG (if applicable) services to nursing homes, healthcare facilities, and other miscellaneous facilities. - Perform and process X-rays using portable digital (DR) or computed (CR) radiography equipment and transmit them to a radiologist for interpretation. - Unload portable X-ray equipment and enter facilities to perform exams ordered by a physician. Clinically diagnostic and technically competent X-ray images must be obtained. - Conduct EKGs (if required) and transmit them to a cardiologist for interpretation. - Scan exam-related paperwork and billing documents daily as per protocol. - Regularly communicate with dispatch and management. - Maintain effective and professional communication with peers, supervisory staff, and clients. - Perform maintenance on vehicle and X-ray equipment. - Physical demands include the ability to push/pull the equipment, potentially up to 100 lbs using vehicle ramps and pulleys, with varying weight resistance while maneuvering equipment in facilities or homes.
