Job Description PS Companies is seeking a travel nurse RN Cardiac PCU - Progressive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Wausau, Wisconsin. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Cardiac PCU - Progressive Care Unit - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 07/28/2025 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel PS Companies is seeking an experienced Cardiac PCU RN for an opening based in Wausau, WI. This is a full time 13 week travel contract position. Float Requirements: Float to all inpatient units as needed Unit Information: 44 Bed Intermediate cardiac stepdown. Fast paced, high patient turnover. Post op CABG/Valve, thoracotomy, Vascular, Arrhythmia, CHF, Post procedure cath, pacer, defib, ablations, Acute CP/MI, med/surg overflow i.e. detox, DKA, COPD exac, resp failure, Fem Pop Bypass. Patient ratio typically 1:4 Requirements include, but are not limited to: Active WI or Compact License. 2 years Cardiac PCU experience Amiodarone, Cardizem, and Nitro Drip experience Travel experience Epic experience BLS (AHA) Certification ACLS (AHA) Certification Ability to clear a drug screen/background check.
