This role is an integral part of our production line, ensuring that our packaging machinery runs smoothly and efficiently. The successful candidate will have a hands-on role in maintaining and repairing our packaging machinery, ensuring that our products are packaged to the highest standards. This role is perfect for someone who has a passion for problem-solving, enjoys working with machinery, and thrives in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities: As a Permanent Packaging Technician (Field Service), you will have a range of responsibilities that ensure the smooth running of our packaging machinery. These include: 1. Performing regular maintenance checks on all packaging machinery to ensure optimal performance. 2. Diagnosing and repairing any faults or malfunctions with the packaging machinery. 3. Ensuring that all packaging machinery is operating in accordance with safety regulations. 4. Assisting in the installation and set-up of new packaging machinery. 5. Working closely with the production team to ensure that all products are packaged to the highest standards. 6. Keeping detailed records of all maintenance and repair work carried out. 7. Providing expert advice and guidance to other team members on the operation and maintenance of the packaging machinery. 8. Responding quickly and efficiently to any machinery breakdowns to minimize downtime. Qualifications: To be considered for the role of Permanent Packaging Technician (Field Service), you will need the following qualifications: 1. A minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role within the manufacturing industry. 2. Proven experience in the maintenance and repair of packaging machinery. 3. A solid understanding of packaging processes and machinery. 4. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to diagnose and repair machinery faults. 5. Strong communication skills, with the ability to provide clear and concise instructions to team members. 6. A commitment to adhering to safety regulations and maintaining a safe working environment. 7. The ability to work well under pressure and to prioritize tasks effectively. 8.
