Day-4/month; Overnight-2/month Positions Supervised: Direct
supervision of benefit eligible and part-time faculty and benefit
eligible and part time support employees. LOCATION: Green Bay
STANDARD HOURS: 40 hours per week. Typical hours Monday - Friday
8:00 am - 5:00 pm; Flexibility required to include other evening
and/or weekend hours, as necessary. SALARY RANGE: $101,533 -
$109,368 per year *Salaries/Wages for all finalists (internal and
external) will be placed within the range based upon education,
experiences, current wages, and internal equity. POSITION SUMMARY
As an Associate Dean, you will play a pivotal role in leading
instructional program teams to design, develop, and implement
curricula and initiatives that foster student success.
Collaborating closely with the dean, you will articulate a clear
vision and direction, driving innovation and growth within faculty
teams. Your leadership will ensure alignment with the College's
strategic initiatives, effective resource allocation, and a
supportive environment that values diversity and promotes student
learning. Additionally, you will oversee human resource management,
curriculum quality, assessment, compliance, and participation in
college-wide committees, all aimed at creating a safe and engaging
learning environment while enhancing economic development
initiatives. This role encompasses a balanced mix of operational
and tactical responsibilities, team leadership and development,
policy execution, and process oversight. Associate Deans will
operationalize our dual credit work, working with the K12 Pathways
and Rural Community Impact team to ensure that our high school
partners have access to high quality program pathways. ESSENTIAL
FUNCTIONS Curriculum and Teaching Excellence Ensure the use of
high-quality curriculum across programs and courses. Lead and
support faculty in establishing regular, high quality assessment of
learning and provide feedback to ensure high impact teaching,
student engagement and success. Partner with the Teaching and
Learning Center to promote and ensure faculty use of best practices
in teaching and learning to address diverse student needs. Faculty
and Staff Development & Support Address concerns, resolve
conflicts, and manage faculty, staff, and student issues and/or
behavior. Partner with the dean on recruitment, onboarding,
retention, and performance evaluations. Conduct performance reviews
and classroom observations to enhance teaching quality. Student
Support & Conflict Resolution Work with faculty and students to
support the Student Complaint and Grievance Procedure Manage
conduct-related behaviors and follow through on establishing
sanctions Encourage open dialogue and teamwork among students and
faculty to enhance student success. Leadership, Management and
Collaboration Conducts hiring processes. Recommends and implements
personnel actions, supervises employees, and maintains an effective
workforce to support organizational goals Collaborate with the dean
to operationalize vision, drive innovation, and foster faculty
growth. Encourage open dialogue and teamwork among staff and
faculty to enhance student success. Participate in college
committees to influence academic policies and decision-making.
Partnership Development and Management Establish, maintain, and
strengthen strategic partnerships with external organizations,
educational institutions, and stakeholders to support program
growth and innovation in alignment with college and department
goals. Facilitate regular communication with partners to ensure
alignment, engagement, and effective implementation of joint
initiatives. Monitor partnership effectiveness, track key
performance metrics, and provide recommendations for continuous
improvement. Represent the department or program in external
meetings, conferences, and networking events to expand partnership
opportunities. Develop initiatives to support industry needs, K-12
collaboration, and secure grant funding in alignment with college
and department goals. Grant support / management Operational and
Strategic Oversight Coordinate planning, budgeting, and resource
allocation to optimize efficiency. Oversee facility use, equipment
procurement, and scheduling for program needs. Align departmental
work with college and academic division strategies. Academic
Portfolio Management Lead faculty through 5-year Program review
process, and annual desk review process Ensure a healthy department
academic portfolio that reflects the needs of the region in
collaboration with the dean. Utilize data to support new program
growth. Leverage assessment data and work with faculty for course
and program improvement opportunities. Lead faculty through annual
assessment planning and reporting focused on continuous improvement
of student learning Compliance Ensure compliance with
accreditation, oversight of standards by external bodies and safety
requirements by following policy and process; examples include but
are not limited to: HLC DOJ Program accrediting bodies WTCS MINIMUM
QUALIFICATIONS AND WORK EXPERIENCE Master's Degree Two years
occupational experience outside the field of education Two years
teaching experience, preferably in post-secondary education
Experience with Microsoft Office Suite Must hold a valid driver’s
license and be insurable under the District’s standard insurance
policy terms An equivalent combination of education and work
