Contract About the Role We’re looking for a motivated Takeoff Estimator to join our estimating team. This is a great opportunity for someone interested in starting or growing a career in construction estimating, material takeoffs, and project planning. In this role, you’ll review project drawings, prepare accurate material quantities, gather pricing, and support the bidding process. The position also includes visiting job sites to review scope and verify field conditions. Responsibilities Review architectural and engineering drawings to understand project requirements Prepare detailed material takeoffs and Bills of Materials (BOM) Request and organize pricing from vendors and suppliers Assist with assembling and submitting competitive bids Communicate with project managers, engineers, and clients to clarify project details Visit job sites to meet customers, review scope, and perform field verification Maintain organized estimate files and project documentation Support additional estimating and preconstruction tasks as needed Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent (degree in construction management, engineering, or related field preferred) Strong attention to detail with solid analytical skills Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications Proficiency with Microsoft Excel; estimating software experience is a plus (training provided) Strong communication and interpersonal skills Willingness to travel, including occasional overnight stays Valid driver’s license required Forward a resume to Doug Hammond at dhammond@seekprofessionals.com - apply at www.seekprofessionals.com or call 920-964-0333.
