the hours are 2:00pm to 10:30pm. This shift receives a shift
premium of $1.50. Here's your opportunity: As a Maintenance
Mechanic, you will be responsible, under direct supervision, for
assisting in repairing and maintaining basic machinery and
mechanical/electronic equipment such as engines, motors, pneumatic
tools, conveyor systems, and production machines and equipment.
Here's how you'll contribute: /n - Analyzes and resolves mechanical
issues /n - Analyzes, diagnoses, troubleshoots and resolves most
problems /n - Knowledge of MP2 (Preventative Maintenance) Program
/n - Manages inventory of maintenance supplies/Contacts vendors /n
- Ensures building security and building maintenance /n - Completes
scheduled preventative maintenance (PM) /n - Assists with machinery
and equipment installation /n - Certifies employees in forklift
operations /n - Proficient in most required department equipment
setups /n - Proficient in applicable computer programs and
equipment controls /n - Knowledge of all Standard Operating
Procedures for department equipment /n - Knowledge of power and
department tools /n - Proper use of measuring instruments, gauges,
meters /n - Knowledge of pneumatics and hydraulics /n - Knowledge
of mechanical processes /n - A.C./ D.C. Knowledge /n - Certified in
Lock Out/Tag Out procedures /n - Maintains tools and tool storage
area /n - Manages scrap metal/wood disposal process /n - Knowledge
of large compactor operation /n - Knowledge of plant and
departments layout /n - Completes Industrial Lift Truck
Certifications /n - Reads and interprets blueprints and schematics
/n - Supports Continuous Improvement /n - Supports new product
development at maintenance level /n - Helps train department

vocational or high school supplemented by an accredited
apprenticeship (not required, but highly desired) and four (4)
years of experience in varied maintenance operations; or equivalent
combination of education and training. Requires knowledge of
machining technology, mechanical principles, advanced shop
mathematics, job layout and precision measuring procedures, setups,
tooling applications, operating methods and machining
characteristics of materials. Certified State Indentured Journeyman
