Job Description:
Job Title: Director of Transmission - Electric Division
Location: On Site in Madison Overview: We are working with a
rapidly growing leader in the electrical contracting industry,
currently seeking a Director of Transmission to oversee a critical
part of their Electric Division . This is an exciting opportunity
for a seasoned professional, offering the chance to step into a
leadership role with significant impact. The company has an
impressive $300M backlog of business over the next three years and
is expanding to meet demand. The position is based in a
state-of-the-art HQ with top-tier amenities. This leadership role
offers direct access to senior management with the ability to
influence and drive growth in an organization with over $500M in
revenue . Key Responsibilities: Oversee the day-to-day operations
of the Transmission Group, ensuring efficient project execution and
operational excellence. Lead and mentor a team of 7 Project
Managers , ensuring compliance, productivity, and operational
success. Act as a safety champion, enforcing and enhancing safety
protocols across all transmission operations. Manage the P&L
for the Transmission Group , taking full responsibility for
financial outcomes and profitability. Plan, budget, and run
transmission operations like a business, ensuring strategic and
operational alignment with company goals. Drive and oversee
large-scale transmission projects ranging from $5M to $50M ,
including projects involving 50 miles of transmission lines.
Collaborate closely with senior leadership to shape the future of
the division and ensure continued growth and success. Utilize COINS
Accounting Software , MS Excel , and P6 for financial management,
project planning, and tracking. What They're Looking For: 15 years
of experience in the transmission/electrical contracting industry
Extensive experience managing large transmission projects with
budgets and projects. Strong background in electric power projects
Leadership experience in managing project teams and driving
operational excellence. Salary: $200,000 to $250,000 ZRCFS
