This role is ideal for someone with 2 years of experience who can perform basic handyman tasks and is eager to learn from more experienced technicians. As a Handyman Apprentice/Helper, youll have flexibility in your schedule while gaining valuable, hands-on training with the opportunity to grow into a full technician role. Key Responsibilities Complete basic handyman services under supervision (light carpentry, drywall patching, painting, caulking, fixture installation, minor repairs). Assist experienced handymen on larger jobs preparing work areas, carrying tools, clean-up, and finishing touches. Maintain a professional appearance and excellent customer service when on-site with clients. Keep job sites and tools organized and clean. Track your time and job details accurately. Follow safety protocols and company quality standards. Qualifications 2 years of handyman, construction, or trade experience preferred, but not required. Basic knowledge of tools, home repair methods, and safe work practices. Willingness to learn and take direction. Must provide reliable transportation. Ability to lift up to 100 lbs. and perform physical labor. Strong communication and customer service skills. Contractor Details 1099 Independent Contractor: You are responsible for your own taxes, insurance, and benefits. Flexible Scheduling: Work assignments are based on availability and workload.
