Job Description:
Accounting generalist - assist with a variety of areas within
financial accounting. Assist in the monthly close process. Prepare
account reconciliations and journal entries as assigned. Assist in
the annual budget process. Support the ongoing JD Edwards
reimplementation project, as necessary.ResponsibilitiesPerform
reconciliations for a variety of areas, such as: fixed assets,
sales tax accruals, prepaids, sales, rebates, commissions, and
othersPrepare and distribute periodic reports on assigned
areas.Support maintenance and tracking of fixed asset additions,
transfers, disposals, and depreciation records.Assist with tracking
of active capital projects and maintaining related schedules.Work
with project managers to ensure timely capitalization of
projects.Maintain records and reports on all equipment
leases.Assist with processing of customer rebates, promotional
credits, etc.Support tracking and application of Co-op
funds.Responsible for customer bill backs.Enter/maintain
miscellaneous sales transactions in JDE for sales moves and
secondary/warehouse sales.Provide support in preparation for annual
audits, income tax filings, and insurance renewals.Assist with
special projects (mergers, acquisitions, system implementations,
etc.) as needed by the business.Continually look for process
improvement opportunities across the financial reporting
function.Provide assistance in other areas of the accounting
department as needed.Perform ad hoc analysis as needed.This role is

competencies in detail.QualificationsNo experience necessary. Entry
level.0+ years experience / internship in the accounting function
at a manufacturing companyA bachelor's degree is required with a
major in accounting.The desire to obtain either an advance degree,
CPA or CMASelf-starter with the ability to adapt to a changing
environment driven by growth and acquisitionsStrong analytical
ability, high degree of intelligence, energy, and ambitionExcellent
organizational skillsAbility to prioritizeStrong verbal and written
communication skillsAbility to work independently and solve
problemsKnowledge of Microsoft Suite platform - Microsoft Office,
