Compute Cloud at Customer (C3) is a new on-premise infrastructure
product that builds on the current Private Cloud at Customer
concept and adds additional capabilities through increased
integration with OCI tools and APIs. PaaS (platform as a service)
is a set of cloud services used to build and manage modern
applications and data. PaaS delivers infrastructure and middleware
components that enable developers and IT administrators to build
and manage mobile apps and web applications. We have a proven
history to build products that bring true value to our customers,
and we realized there are many known and unknown challenges that
require your input and ideas to innovate and make the product even
better. We encourage innovations. In this role, you will design and
implement PaaS products.
Key Qualifications:
B.Tech./B.E./M.Tech./M.E. degree in Computer Science 4+ years of
software engineering and technical leadership with proven results
in designing, implementing and maintaining complex CI /CD systems
and services. Strong understanding of computer science fundamentals
including algorithms, data structure, databases, and system
concepts. Complete product development life-cycle experience with
good software engineering skills. Knowledge of security best
practices and standards in cloud development.
Cloud Engineering Infrastructure Development Experience
Experience with Relational/NoSQL Databases, knowledge of
Infrastructure as Code tools (e.g. Terraform, Ansible) and strong
programming skills, preferably Java/J2EE.
Scripting Languages: Python/Shell scripts. Solid grasp of HTTP, TCP
and RESTful web services and development experience in RESTful
services and Microservices Familiarity with networking concepts and
protocols.
Knowledge of Kubernetes and related container orchestration
technologies
Linux/Unix OS system level experience
Cloud Engineering Infrastructure Development
Knowledge/experience of agile/lean development, test-driven
development methodologies

What you will do: Participate in the implementation of new services
for Oracle's Cloud PaaS offerings. Build innovative solutions for
boosting efficiency of Oracle's internal and external stakeholders.
Participate in technical discussions and contribute to
architectural and technical decisions Collaborate with stakeholders
on identifying, drafting, and implementing ideas that have a
positive impact across multiple organizations. Collaborate in
DevOps tasks for deploying and maintaining our services.
Continually raise the bar on our delivery, tools, and
processes.

Range and benefit information provided in this posting are specific

US: Hiring Range: from $94,200 to $223,500 per annum. May be
eligible for bonus and equity.

account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market

Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the
preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years
of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working
between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20
hours per week are not eligible for vacation.

Refreshes each calendar year. Unused balance will carry over each
year up to a maximum cap of 112 hours.
